    BLOOD LINE AND GENES
  • *Kansas Dream is a unique stallion in Europe and very rare indeed in the world
  • He is most probably homozygous for curls (his sire is proven homozygous and his dam is highly believed to be)
  • He is one of just a few believed homozygous stallions standing at stud in Europe (all foals should be curly)
  • In utero import from USA, only in USA you find other Kreskin progeny, or any stud that are gaited and homozygous
  • He is one of two studs in Europe that for sure only has the Curly Jim curly genes (goes to Curly Jim top and bottom and no other curly blood lines)
  • Curly Jim is known for long manes and tails on all descendants that purely trace back to him
  • Even when bred to string tail curly mares, no string tail babies (may have short mane/tail but not shed to the skin)
  • He has a tight microcurly coat, even very curly summer coat, very curly eyelashes, and a long mane and tail
  • His new blood line makes him an excellent choice for almost every mare in Europe
  • *Kansas can track his pedigree to the famous Darley Arabian, f.1700, see Kansas' Tail-Male, and his dam's: Sonata's Tail-Male
    REGISTRIES AND ELIGIBILITIES
  • Registered as a Curly in ICHO dominant division, ABC Full Curly, and in Sweden. DNA typed at UC Davis
  • All foals are ICHO eligible. Foals with ABC mares (both Full or blood percentage mares) are eligible for ABC registration
  • In his pedigree, up to ten generations (the trackable parts) it looks like only gaited horses
  • Should sire gaited foals with gaited mares, and both gaited and non gaited foals with non gaited mares
  • *Kansas and both his parents are registered American Fox Trotter with AFTHBA. His foxtrotting foals are also eligible for AFTHBA

    INFORMATION ON FROZEN SEMEN
  • We recommend to buy three doses for one mare/one season (one year), although often only one dose is needed to conceive, the industry average is 2.5 doses per mare.
  • We recommend Timed Insemination, for only one veterinary visit a day, and using one dose split on two inseminations during the cycle. Read Frozen semen insemination protocols.
  • If you have unused doses, you can use them on another mare, or next year or sell them to somebody else. Live foal fee is only applicable when you have succeded getting a live foal!
  • Stallion report to the registries will be based on veterinary reports returned to stud keeper. Breeding certificates (springseddel) will be issued to mare owner upon paying of live foal fee (one fee for each live foal).
  • No limit to how many foals that were born from the semen you bought (but breeding certificates and parentage verification with DNA are required to register the foals).
  • To save on import and shipping costs, order as many doses as you can at the same time (cooperate with other breeders in your country). Store the semen at a veterinary clinic untill you need it.
