Sassey
Sassey is one of the three first Curly Horses in Norway, which arrived in 2000.
She has proved herself to be an excellent brood mare. Sassey has been inspected and graded 2. Premium (the best she could get), received a quality award and was Reserve Site Champion at that year's large mare inspection (all breeds) in our region. Sassey is a pleasure type with refined bones, but still has good width and plenty of muscling.
Sassey was trained to drive and ride as a four year old. She has since she was five years old been used as trail horse for children beside her mother duties.
Of pedigree she has 7/8 gaited blood, but is tested CC, not carrying the "gaited gene". She prefers a very smooth western jog which is terrific for bareback riding.
Sassey has large curls in the winter. The tail is long and thick and keeps all year. The mane and forelock is curly and does not shed in the summer but we'll occasionally thin it out due to dreadlocking. In the summer she has a smooth short coat, but with the curly mane it is still easy to see that she is a Curly horse.

Texas is a maximum kat I-pony with an excellent talent for jumping. He is a gelding and he is competing in show jumping, cross country and dressage.

Ohio

Grading: As a 1 year old Ohio was approved "Ribbon" and Quality Awarded and participated in Best-In-Show competition
In Germany at official stallion inspection, Ohio was Approved with Gold Medal

Even as a mature breeding stallion, Ohio has a wonderfully gentle temperament. Ohio is training excellently in reining and is also competing successfully, at national levels for his age.

Arizona

Arizona is also exported to Germany. She is a gorgeous and athletic young mare, refined built but still musculous.
She has become a poster girl for the owner Riverside Curly Horses.

Maryland is exported to Sweden. She is a correct and powerful built young mare. The owner reports that from a young age Maryland shows a natural collected trot, and when she plays at freedom or in a lunge line, she displays movements from the higher school, like capriole. She also make lead changes and passage.
Maryland is a wonderful prospect for barock riding / haute ecole. She also does rollbacks and slide stops and may also excel in western diciplines.

Florida is a breathtakingly beautiful filly. She has a correct built and straight legs, very good conformation. She should become a great allround horse and a good brood mare.
Florida is very sweet and people loving.
She has been inspected and approved at an official horse inspection, with the character 9 points on Breed type and Presence!
Florida was sold to western Norway, where she was a photo model as well as best friend for a bridlemaker. She is also showing well in model classes.
Now she is living in Switzerland.

Virginia

What has been written about Florida may be repeated about Virginia, if possible Virginia is even more beautiful!
From the minute she was born, Virginia has been a quick and strong foal. She has a correct built and straight legs, very good conformation. She should become a great allround horse and a good brood mare.
Virginia is very sweet and people loving. She is believed to be homozgygous for curls, yet with plenty of mane and tail. She is expected to mature to 152 cm.
Virginia was sold to a family in Germany, where she is the riding horse for an allergic girl.

Only one of the other yearlings at the inspection got a better score.

Right after Virginia comes up to sniff the bag and be petted by a little boy.
